Roy Lewis (American football)
Roy Lewis (born May 28, 1957) is a former American football player. He played as a defensive back in the National Football League (NFL).
Lewis played college football at Morris Brown College, a historically black college in Atlanta, Georgia.
He was drafted by the Washington Redskins in the seventh round of the 1979 NFL Draft. He played for the Redskins from 1979 to 1981. After his stint with the Redskins, he played for the Cleveland Browns in 1982 and 1983.
During his NFL career, Lewis was primarily a special teams player and reserve defensive back.
