Muse (EP)
The Muse EP is the self-titled debut extended play by the English rock band Muse, released in 1998. It was recorded after the band changed its name from Rocket Baby Dolls to Muse and features four tracks. The EP was released on Dangerous Records and helped to garner attention for the band within the UK music scene, particularly around the Devon area where they originated. The tracks showcased the early development of Muse's distinctive sound, characterized by Matt Bellamy's soaring vocals and guitar work, and a blend of alternative rock, progressive elements, and classical influences. The EP is considered a rare and sought-after item by Muse collectors due to its limited release and significance in the band's early history. The songs on the Muse EP were later re-recorded or featured on subsequent albums and B-sides.
