Robert Power (Australian cyclist)

Robert Power (born 11 May 1995) is an Australian former professional road cyclist.

Power was a highly regarded junior cyclist, winning the World Junior Road Race Championships in 2013. He turned professional in 2016 with Orica-GreenEDGE (later Mitchelton-Scott). During his time with the team, he showed promise as a stage racer, participating in Grand Tours such as the Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a España.

Power joined Team Sunweb (later Team DSM) in 2019, aiming to further develop his climbing abilities. However, his time with the team was hampered by health issues, including ulcerative colitis.

He returned to Australia and retired from professional cycling at the end of the 2021 season, citing health reasons and a lack of passion for the sport. Since retirement, he has focused on other pursuits, including pursuing educational opportunities and contributing to community cycling initiatives.
