Revisions (TV series)
Revisions is a Japanese anime television series produced by Shirogumi and directed by Goro Taniguchi. It aired from January to March 2019 on Fuji TV's "+Ultra" programming block.
The series follows a group of high school students from Shibuya, Tokyo, who are transported thirty years into the future. In this desolate future, they are thrust into a war for survival against cyborgs known as "Revisions." The only one who believes in them is Milo, a mysterious girl from the future, who guides and protects them using giant mechanical beings called "String Puppets."
The series explores themes of predestination, determinism versus free will, and the responsibilities of possessing extraordinary power. The main characters must learn to trust each other and overcome their personal flaws to fight for their future and the future of Shibuya. The anime is known for its use of 3D CGI animation and its complex plot involving time travel and dystopian elements.
