René García (politician)
René García is an American politician from Florida. He served as a Republican member of the Florida Senate, representing District 40, which includes portions of Miami-Dade County. His tenure in the Florida Senate spanned from 2010 to 2018. Prior to his time in the Senate, García served in the Florida House of Representatives from 2000 to 2008, representing District 111.
During his time in the Florida Legislature, García served on various committees and focused on issues such as healthcare, education, and economic development.
