R317 road (Ireland)

The R317 is a regional road in County Mayo, Ireland. It connects the N59 road near Newport to the N5 road at Bohola. The road is approximately 34 kilometers (21 miles) long. It passes through or near several villages and townlands, including Derrada and Islandeady. The R317 generally runs in a north-south direction through central Mayo, providing an important local route for access to these smaller settlements and connecting them to the larger national primary routes.
