Queen Anne (play)

Queen Anne is a 2017 historical drama play written by Helen Edmundson. The play explores the political maneuvering and personal relationships surrounding Queen Anne's reign in the early 18th century, focusing particularly on her close friendship with Sarah Churchill, Duchess of Marlborough, and the subsequent tensions that arose as their influence clashed with other political figures.

The play premiered at the Swan Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon, in 2015, produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company. It later transferred to the Theatre Royal Haymarket in London in 2017.
