Provideo

Provideo is a deprecated software library formerly associated with Processing, a visual programming language. It provided functionality for video playback and capture. Specifically, it allowed Processing sketches to load, display, and manipulate video files, as well as capture video from cameras or other video input devices. Provideo was intended to simplify working with video within the Processing environment. Its features included methods for accessing individual frames, controlling playback speed, and applying basic video processing effects. The library was eventually superseded by more robust and actively maintained video processing solutions within the Processing ecosystem and external video processing libraries. As a result, Provideo is no longer recommended for new projects.
