Valhall (band)

Valhall is a Norwegian doom metal band formed in 1995 in Oslo. They are known for their traditional, gloomy, and heavy sound, drawing inspiration from bands like Candlemass, Black Sabbath, and Saint Vitus. The band's name is derived from Valhalla, the hall of the slain in Norse mythology.

Valhall's lineup has remained relatively consistent throughout their career. Key members include:

• Fenriz: (Gylve Nagell), best known as the drummer and one of the founding members of the black metal band Darkthrone, provides lyrics and occasional vocals.
• Thomas Sørlie: Guitar.
