Pop-Tops

Pop-Tops are a brand of pre-sweetened, pre-cooked, sealed pastries manufactured by Kellogg's. They typically consist of a rectangular filling between two layers of pastry crust. Most varieties require toasting before consumption, although some are available ready-to-eat. Pop-Tops are commonly marketed as a quick and convenient breakfast food, but are also consumed as snacks and desserts. They are available in a variety of flavors, including fruit fillings, chocolate fillings, and sweet dessert flavors. A defining characteristic of Pop-Tops is the often-present frosting covering the top of the pastry, sometimes adorned with sprinkles.
