John Cregan (politician)

John Cregan (born c. 1871, died 1957) was an Irish politician. He served as a Teachta Dála (TD) in the Dáil Éireann for the Labour Party.

Cregan was first elected to Dáil Éireann at the 1927 general election for the Limerick constituency. He lost his seat at the September 1927 general election but regained it at the 1932 general election. He was re-elected in 1933, 1937, 1938, 1943 and 1944.

Cregan lost his seat at the 1948 general election. He did not contest any further elections and died in 1957. His political career was primarily focused on representing the interests of workers and advocating for social justice in the Limerick region.
