Pommier

A pommier is the French word for apple tree. It is commonly used in areas where French is spoken, or where there is a historical French influence, to refer specifically to apple trees grown for fruit production. The term can also be used more generally to refer to any tree of the genus Malus that produces apples. In some regions, the term "pommier" can also refer to an orchard, specifically an apple orchard.
