"Physical" is a song recorded by Australian singer Olivia Newton-John, released in September 1981 as the lead single from her twelfth studio album of the same name. Written by Steve Kipner and Terry Shaddick, the song initially presented a double entendre about getting in shape, but Newton-John, fearing the song was too suggestive, nearly withdrew it.
