Colehill
Colehill is a village and civil parish in East Dorset, England, situated approximately 1.5 miles (2.4 km) northwest of Wimborne Minster. It forms part of the unitary authority of Dorset. The village is largely residential and has seen significant growth in recent decades, expanding from a smaller rural settlement into a larger suburb of Wimborne.
Historically, Colehill was primarily an agricultural area. Today, its economy is largely based on services and retail, catering to the needs of its residents and the surrounding area. The village contains a number of local shops, schools (including Colehill First School), and community facilities.
Colehill is governed at the local level by Colehill Parish Council. The area is represented at the Dorset Council level by elected councillors.
The parish church is dedicated to the Holy Trinity. The village also contains a Methodist church.
