Philippe Martin (politician)

Philippe Martin (born November 22, 1953) is a French politician. He served as Minister of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy in the Ayrault II government from July 2, 2013, to March 31, 2014.

Prior to his ministerial role, Martin was a member of the National Assembly representing the Gers department, a position he held from 1997 to 2013. He is a member of the Socialist Party (Parti socialiste).
