Peter Vardy (businessman)
Peter Vardy is a British businessman best known for his involvement in the automotive industry. He is the Chief Executive of Peter Vardy Group, a major car dealership group operating throughout Scotland.
Vardy’s career in the motor trade began with his family's business, Reg Vardy plc, which was founded by his father, Reg Vardy. Reg Vardy plc grew to become one of the UK's largest car dealership groups, eventually being sold to Pendragon PLC in 2006.
Following the sale of Reg Vardy plc, Peter Vardy established his own company, Peter Vardy Group, in 2006. The company operates a network of dealerships representing various car brands, including BMW, MINI, Porsche, and Jaguar Land Rover. In addition to car dealerships, the Peter Vardy Group also operates used car supermarkets under the name 'Peter Vardy Carz'.
Beyond his business ventures, Vardy is also known for his philanthropic activities. He is the founder of the Peter Vardy Foundation, which supports children and young people both in the UK and internationally.
