Peter Madden (footballer)

Peter Madden is a former professional Australian rules footballer who played for the Essendon Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL) / Australian Football League (AFL).

Madden played primarily as a ruckman. He was recruited from Airport West and debuted for Essendon in 1976. He played 62 games for the club between 1976 and 1981, and kicked 37 goals.

Following his VFL career, Madden continued to be involved in Australian rules football at the local level. Further information on his post-VFL career and current activities is limited.
