Patrick Barron (bishop)
Patrick Barron (died April 1820) was an Irish Roman Catholic bishop who served as the Titular Bishop of Ioppe and Vicar Apostolic of Cape of Good Hope and adjacent territories.
Barron was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Dublin. He was appointed Vicar Apostolic of Cape of Good Hope and adjacent territories on 5 June 1818, and simultaneously appointed Titular Bishop of Ioppe (Joppa). He was consecrated bishop on 16 August 1819. He served only a short time, dying in April 1820. He was succeeded as Vicar Apostolic by William Plunkett.
