OKA (truck)
OKA was a Russian (Soviet-era) manufacturer of trucks and other vehicles. The name "OKA" (ОКА) could refer to several different vehicles produced by different factories, often associated with either the Serpukhov Motor Plant (SeAZ) or later AvtoVAZ (Lada).
The most well-known usage of the term "OKA" refers to the VAZ-1111 Oka, a subcompact city car developed by AvtoVAZ in the late Soviet period and produced from 1988 until 2008. While not a truck, its association with the OKA name is significant.
Truck production specifically associated with the "OKA" name is less widespread in common knowledge. Serpukhov Motor Plant, before its later focus on microcars like the S-3D, may have been involved in the production of specialized utility vehicles that informally acquired the "OKA" association due to their regional origin or association with the factory. However, definitively attributing specific truck models solely to the "OKA" brand requires further specific research.
Therefore, while the most recognized "OKA" product is the VAZ-1111 subcompact car, some truck production may have been loosely associated with the name, although documentation is limited and less widely available compared to the car.
