Ninjala

Ninjala is a free-to-play multiplayer action video game developed by GungHo Online Entertainment. It was released worldwide on June 24, 2020, for the Nintendo Switch. The game features online battles where players, as ninjas, use bubblegum to create weapons and utilize parkour skills to navigate the environment and defeat opponents.

Gameplay:

Ninjala pits players against each other in arenas where they compete to score points. Players use "Ninja-Gum," a special type of bubblegum, to create weapons like katanas, hammers, and drills. The Ninja-Gum also grants abilities such as transformations, speed boosts, and special attacks. Players can also run on walls, dash through the air, and perform other acrobatic maneuvers to outmaneuver opponents. Combat revolves around a rock-paper-scissors system where different attack types have advantages and disadvantages against each other. Players can also “S-Blast” opponents to knock them out and earn points.

Story:

The game’s narrative revolves around the World Ninja Association (WNA), which is dedicated to researching ninjutsu and preserving its secrets. The story mode allows players to experience the backstories of the various characters and learn about the world of Ninjala.

Characters:

Ninjala features a diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique personalities and backstories. Playable characters include Van, Emma, Burton, Berecca, Ron, Jane, Kappei, and Lucy. More characters have been added through updates.

GungHo Online Entertainment regularly updates Ninjala with new weapons, stages, costumes, collaborations, and gameplay features. These updates keep the game fresh and provide players with new content to explore.
