Nighthawk (comics)
Nighthawk refers to several fictional characters appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. The most prominent Nighthawk is Kyle Richmond, who originated as a villain and later became a hero, often associated with the Defenders team.
Kyle Richmond (Earth-616)
The primary Nighthawk, Kyle Richmond, is a wealthy and athletic man who initially gained his abilities through alchemical enhancement. Originally motivated by greed and self-interest, Richmond was a member of the Squadron Sinister, a team created by the Grandmaster to battle the Avengers. He later reformed and joined the Defenders, seeking redemption for his past actions. Throughout his history, Nighthawk has faced various personal and psychological struggles. He has also encountered different iterations and alternate versions of himself from other realities. His costume typically consists of a dark suit with a stylized bird mask and cape, reflecting his namesake.
