NGC 453

NGC 453 is a designation in the New General Catalogue (NGC) for an object in the constellation Pisces. It is a triplet of stars and not a true deep-sky object such as a galaxy or nebula. It was observed on November 10, 1866, by the astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest. Its nature as a star triplet was later confirmed.
