NDR Chor

The NDR Chor (NDR Choir) is a German professional choir based in Hamburg. It is one of the vocal ensembles of the Norddeutscher Rundfunk (NDR, North German Broadcasting), a public radio and television broadcaster in Northern Germany.

Founded in 1946, the NDR Chor is renowned for its versatility, performing a wide range of choral repertoire spanning from Renaissance polyphony to contemporary works. It collaborates regularly with leading orchestras and conductors, both within the NDR's own organization (including the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra and the NDR Radiophilharmonie) and with other national and international ensembles.

The choir is active in concert performances, opera productions, and recordings. Its performances are frequently broadcast on NDR radio and television, and it has released numerous recordings on various labels, showcasing its diverse repertoire and artistic excellence.
