Mr. Swing (album)
Mr. Swing is a studio album by the American swing revival band, the Brian Setzer Orchestra. Released in 1996, it marked a significant departure from Setzer's rockabilly roots and fully embraced the big band swing sound. The album features a mix of original compositions and covers of classic swing tunes. It is generally considered a key album in the swing revival movement of the 1990s, helping to introduce a new generation to the music of artists like Benny Goodman, Glenn Miller, and Duke Ellington. Tracks from Mr. Swing received considerable airplay and helped the Brian Setzer Orchestra gain a wider audience.
