Ministry of Interior (Syria)

The Ministry of Interior (Syria) is a government ministry responsible for maintaining internal security, law enforcement, and civil defense within Syria. Its functions include managing the Syrian police force, overseeing border control, issuing national identification documents and passports, and combating crime. The Ministry is also deeply involved in internal intelligence gathering and plays a key role in suppressing dissent.
