Michael Hanna (judge)

Michael Hanna is an American jurist who currently serves as a judge on the Superior Court of California, County of Los Angeles. He was appointed to the bench by Governor Jerry Brown in 2016.

Prior to his appointment, Judge Hanna worked as a Deputy Public Defender in Los Angeles County for over 20 years. During his tenure as a public defender, he handled a wide variety of criminal cases, including serious felonies. He is a graduate of Loyola Law School.
