MasterChef (Brazilian TV series) season 1

MasterChef (Brazilian TV series) season 1 was the first season of the Brazilian reality television cooking competition MasterChef, based on the original British series of the same name. It aired on the Band network from September 2 to December 16, 2014. The season was hosted by Ana Paula Padrão, and the judging panel consisted of chefs Henrique Fogaça, Erick Jacquin, and Paola Carosella.

The season featured amateur cooks from across Brazil competing in a series of culinary challenges. These challenges tested their skills in areas such as ingredient identification, knife skills, cooking techniques, and recipe execution. Each week, contestants faced elimination based on their performance in these challenges.

The season culminated in a finale where the top two contestants competed head-to-head to create a three-course meal. The winner of MasterChef (Brazilian TV series) season 1 was Elisa Fernandes, who won a R$150,000 prize, a Fiat Palio car, a trophy, and a scholarship at Le Cordon Bleu Paris.

The first season proved popular in Brazil and helped to launch the MasterChef franchise in the country.
