Mark Lowry (soccer)

Mark Lowry is an American soccer coach and former player. He is currently the head coach of MLS Next Pro side Huntsville City FC.

Lowry's playing career was primarily in the lower divisions of American soccer. He played for several teams, including the Wilmington Hammerheads, Charlotte Eagles, and Real Maryland Monarchs. He primarily played as a defender.

Following his playing career, Lowry transitioned to coaching. He began his coaching career as an assistant coach at Charlotte Independence. He then served as the head coach of the Jacksonville Armada FC U-23 team. In 2018, he was named the head coach of Saint Louis FC 2, the USL League Two affiliate of Saint Louis FC. He then took on roles within the Nashville SC organization, including coaching roles within their academy and eventually leading Huntsville City FC upon its establishment as their MLS Next Pro affiliate.
