Magunga

Magunga is a small trading center and administrative sub-location located in Migori County, within the Nyanza Province of Kenya. It is situated in the Kuria East sub-county. The area is primarily inhabited by people of the Kuria ethnic group. The local economy is largely based on agriculture, with subsistence farming and small-scale trading being common activities. The terrain is generally hilly and fertile, suitable for growing various crops. Magunga also serves as a local market center for surrounding villages.
