Maćija is a Polish masculine given name. It is a variant of the name Maciej, which is the Polish form of Matthias or Matthew. The name derives from the Hebrew name Mattityahu, meaning "Gift of God." Maćija, like Maciej, is relatively common in Poland, though perhaps slightly less so than Maciej.
