Məlikpəyə

Məlikpəyə is a village located in the Zangilan District of Azerbaijan. It is situated in the southwestern part of the country, within the Karabakh region. The village was under Armenian occupation following the First Nagorno-Karabakh War in the early 1990s. Control of Məlikpəyə was returned to Azerbaijan in 2020 as a result of the Second Nagorno-Karabakh War. The area is primarily rural and agricultural.
