Märvel (band)

Märvel is a Swedish rock band formed in 2002 in Linköping. They are known for their high-energy live performances, catchy hard rock tunes, and distinct superhero-themed stage personas.

The band members adopt alter egos: The King (vocals, guitar), The Vicar (guitar), and The Burgher (bass). While the members' identities are not secret, they consistently perform and present themselves under these stage names.

Märvel's music draws inspiration from bands such as Kiss, AC/DC, and Turbonegro, resulting in a sound often described as a blend of hard rock, power pop, and punk rock. Lyrically, they explore themes of rock and roll excess, fantasy, and humorous observations.
