Lustleigh

Lustleigh is a village and civil parish in the Teignbridge district of Devon, England, situated within the Dartmoor National Park. It is located on the eastern slopes of Dartmoor, approximately 4 miles (6.4 km) northwest of Bovey Tracey and 6 miles (9.7 km) southwest of Moretonhampstead.

The village is known for its picturesque setting, thatched cottages, and the impressive granite outcrop known as the Lustleigh Cleave. The Cleave offers panoramic views over the surrounding countryside.

Historically, Lustleigh has been an agricultural community. Granite quarrying was also a significant industry in the area. The local church, St. Michael the Archangel, is a notable landmark with parts dating back to the 13th century. The village also boasts a maypole which is traditionally decorated and used for May Day celebrations.
