Luke Jackson (basketball, born 1981)

Luke Jackson (born November 6, 1981) is an American former professional basketball player. He played as a shooting guard and small forward.

Jackson was a standout player at Crespi Carmelite High School in Encino, California, where he earned numerous accolades, including being named a McDonald's All-American. He then played college basketball for the University of Oregon Ducks from 2000 to 2004. During his time at Oregon, Jackson became a key player, known for his scoring ability and rebounding. He was a two-time All-Pac-10 selection and led the Ducks to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Tournament in 2002.

Jackson was selected by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the 10th overall pick in the 2004 NBA draft. He played for the Cavaliers for two seasons, from 2004 to 2006. He then played for the Los Angeles Clippers during the 2006-2007 season.

After his NBA career, Jackson played professionally in Europe, including stints in Italy and Spain.

While not achieving major stardom in the NBA, Jackson had a solid college career and a respectable professional basketball career both in the United States and overseas.
