Lonsdale (UK Parliament constituency)

Lonsdale was a county constituency in Lancashire, England, which returned one Member of Parliament (MP) to the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It was created in 1885, replacing the North Lancashire constituency, and abolished in 1918.

The constituency covered the Lonsdale Hundred, a historic administrative division of Lancashire. This area included parts of the Furness district north of Morecambe Bay, as well as land to the east of Lancaster.

Throughout its existence, Lonsdale was generally considered a Conservative seat. The constituency experienced limited boundary changes during its time as a Parliamentary division.
