Lola Rae

Lola Rae (born Rachel Akosua Funmilola Garton, January 20, 1991) is a British-Nigerian singer and dancer. Born in Obalende, Lagos State, Nigeria, to a British father and a Ghanaian mother, she attended St. Saviour's School, Ebute Metta, before relocating to England at the age of 15.

Rae gained recognition in the Nigerian music scene in 2012 with her debut single "Watch My Ting Go," which quickly garnered significant airplay and attention. Prior to this, she was a member of the British singing group, My Name is GRL.

Her music is often characterized by a blend of Afrobeat, R&B, and pop influences. Following "Watch My Ting Go," she released several other singles, including "Fi Mi Le" featuring Iyanya and "One Time."
