Lin Li (gymnast)

Lin Li (born July 6, 1970) is a retired Chinese gymnast. She is best known for winning a gold medal on the uneven bars at the 1992 Barcelona Olympic Games.

Lin began her gymnastics career at a young age and quickly rose through the ranks of the Chinese national team. She competed in several international competitions, showcasing her exceptional skills, particularly on the uneven bars.

At the 1992 Olympics, Lin Li delivered a flawless routine on the uneven bars, earning a score of 10.00 and securing the gold medal. This was a significant achievement for her and for Chinese gymnastics. She also won a silver medal in the team event at the same Olympics.

After retiring from competitive gymnastics, Lin Li has remained involved in the sport, often acting as a judge or coach. Her contributions to gymnastics in China have been widely recognized.
