League Park (Akron)

League Park was a baseball stadium located in Akron, Ohio. It served as the home of the Akron Yankees, a minor league baseball team in the Ohio-Pennsylvania League, from 1946 to 1952. The ballpark was situated at the corner of Brittain Road and Swartz Road on Akron's east side.

While its exact dimensions are not widely documented, League Park was known for its large outfield. Beyond baseball, the park occasionally hosted other community events. After the Akron Yankees relocated following the 1952 season, League Park was eventually dismantled and the land was redeveloped. Few physical remnants of the ballpark remain today.
