Porto di Mare (Milan Metro)
Porto di Mare is a station on Line 3 (Yellow Line) of the Milan Metro in Milan, Italy. It is located in the southeast of the city, near the Rogoredo district, and serves primarily as a connection point for suburban and regional train services as well as intercity buses. The station's name, "Porto di Mare" (meaning "Sea Port" in Italian), refers to a historical plan to create a navigable canal connecting Milan to the Po River, transforming the area into a port. This plan was never realized, but the name has persisted.
