Larry Kennedy (politician)

Larry Kennedy (born c. 1930s, died April 25, 2017) was an American politician and businessman from Alabama. He served as a Democratic member of the Alabama House of Representatives for District 1 from 1974 to 1998.

Kennedy was a graduate of Auburn University. Prior to his political career, he was involved in the insurance business. He was known for his advocacy on behalf of farmers and rural communities within his district. During his tenure in the Alabama House, he served on various committees, including agriculture and forestry committees.

Following his retirement from the Alabama legislature, Kennedy remained active in community affairs. He died in 2017 and was survived by his wife and children.
