Kyle Guy

Kyle Guy (born August 11, 1997) is an American professional basketball player. He is primarily known for his collegiate career with the Virginia Cavaliers, where he won the 2019 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

Guy, a shooting guard, attended Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was a highly-rated recruit and committed to playing basketball at the University of Virginia under head coach Tony Bennett.

During his time at Virginia (2016-2019), Guy became a key player for the Cavaliers. He was known for his three-point shooting and clutch performances. In his junior year (2018-2019), he was named the NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player after leading Virginia to their first national championship. A particularly memorable moment was his three free throws in the final seconds of the national semi-final game against Auburn, securing a one-point victory for Virginia.

Following his collegiate career, Guy was drafted by the New York Knicks in the second round (55th overall) of the 2019 NBA draft, and his rights were immediately traded to the Sacramento Kings. He has since played in the NBA and the NBA G League for various teams. His professional career has included stints with the Kings, Miami Heat, Cleveland Cavaliers, and their respective G League affiliates. Guy has also played professionally overseas.
