Kuskovo
Kuskovo is a historical estate and park located in Moscow, Russia. It was formerly the summer residence of the Sheremetev family, one of the wealthiest and most influential noble families in Russia.
The estate was established in the 18th century and features a grand palace built in the Neoclassical style, along with a formal French garden, a menagerie, a grotto, and several smaller pavilions and outbuildings. The estate is known for its extensive collection of ceramics, especially delftware, porcelain, and majolica, housed in a dedicated ceramics museum.
Kuskovo is now a museum and park, open to the public. It offers visitors a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of the Russian aristocracy during the 18th century and serves as an important example of Russian Baroque and Neoclassical architecture and landscape design. The park is a popular recreational area for Muscovites. The estate hosts various cultural events and exhibitions throughout the year.
