Kosmos 70
Kosmos 70 was an unmanned Soviet spacecraft, part of the Kosmos program. It was launched on July 10, 1965, from the Baikonur Cosmodrome aboard a Vostok-2 rocket.
Its primary mission was to conduct scientific research, specifically focusing on solar radiation and its effects on the upper atmosphere. The spacecraft carried a suite of scientific instruments designed to measure various parameters related to solar activity and the composition of the ionosphere.
Data collected by Kosmos 70 contributed to a better understanding of space weather and its influence on radio communications and other satellite operations. The mission lasted for approximately eight days before the spacecraft re-entered the Earth's atmosphere.
