Nick Fish

Nick Fish (1958-2020) was an American politician and attorney from Portland, Oregon. He served as a Portland City Commissioner from 2008 until his death in 2020.

Fish was a progressive Democrat known for his advocacy for affordable housing, environmental protection, and access to the arts. Prior to his political career, he was a partner at the law firm of Schwabe, Williamson & Wyatt.

As a City Commissioner, Fish oversaw various bureaus, including the Portland Parks & Recreation, the Portland Housing Bureau, the Bureau of Environmental Services, and the Portland Water Bureau. He championed initiatives such as the "1,000 Homes" project aimed at increasing affordable housing options and supported efforts to restore and protect Portland's natural environment.
