Kong Quan

Kong Quan (孔泉; born 1963) is a Chinese diplomat and politician. He served as the Director-General of the Information Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China and as a foreign ministry spokesperson. He held the position of spokesperson from 2000 to 2006, becoming a recognizable figure in international news due to his frequent press briefings.

Following his tenure as a spokesperson, Kong Quan served in other diplomatic roles, including as the Chinese Consul General in Marseille, France.
