Kew Gardens railway station (Merseyside)
Kew Gardens railway station was a station located on the Southport & Cheshire Lines Extension Railway, part of the Cheshire Lines Committee, serving the Kew district of Southport, Merseyside, England.
The station opened on 1 September 1884, and closed to passengers on 7 January 1952. Goods traffic continued to use the line until 7 July 1952. The station buildings were subsequently demolished. The route of the line through the station site is now a public footpath and cycleway, part of the Trans Pennine Trail. No trace of the station remains. The station was situated between Meols Cop and Blowick stations on the same line. It provided a local service primarily to Liverpool Central station.
