Kamouraska—Rivière-du-Loup (provincial electoral district)

Kamouraska—Rivière-du-Loup is a provincial electoral district in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region of Quebec, Canada. It elects one member to the National Assembly of Quebec.

The district was created in 2011 from parts of the former districts of Kamouraska-Témiscouata and Rivière-du-Loup. It encompasses the Regional County Municipalities (MRC) of Kamouraska and Rivière-du-Loup, as well as a portion of the MRC of Témiscouata (the municipality of Saint-Louis-du-Ha! Ha!).

Geographically, the district covers a portion of the south shore of the Saint Lawrence River, extending inland. Its economy is largely based on agriculture, forestry, tourism, and services.

The riding has traditionally been a battleground between the Parti Québécois (PQ) and the Liberal Party of Quebec (PLQ), with both parties having held the seat at different times. The Coalition Avenir Québec (CAQ) has also become a significant force in recent elections.

Electoral results can vary greatly depending on broader provincial political trends and the specific candidates running. Details on past election results, current representatives, and electoral boundaries are readily available from Élections Québec, the province's electoral agency.
