Station Layout
Kaizuka Station has an elevated station structure with separate platforms for the Nishitetsu Kaizuka Line and the Fukuoka City Subway Hakozaki Line. The Nishitetsu portion typically consists of two island platforms serving two tracks. The Fukuoka City Subway portion consists of an island platform serving two tracks. Ticket gates and concourses are located below the platforms.

History
The station was originally opened by the predecessor of Nishitetsu. Later, the Fukuoka City Subway extended its Hakozaki Line to connect with the Nishitetsu line at Kaizuka, creating a through service.
