KPEC-TV
KPEC-TV was a defunct television station licensed to Casper, Wyoming, broadcasting on analog UHF channel 14. It was an affiliate of the CBS television network. The station operated briefly in the early 1960s. The exact dates of its launch and closure are inconsistently documented, but sources indicate it was active circa 1961-1962.
The station faced significant financial difficulties, which ultimately led to its demise. These difficulties stemmed from a limited broadcast range, small market size, and challenges in attracting sufficient advertising revenue. After its closure, the broadcast license was returned to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
