Justin Mortimer (swimmer)

Justin Mortimer is an American former competitive swimmer. He specialized in distance freestyle events. Mortimer represented the United States at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia. There, he competed in the 1500-meter freestyle, finishing 17th overall in the preliminary heats and failing to advance to the final. He attended and swam for Stanford University, where he was a multi-time All-American and contributed to the team's success. His collegiate career was marked by consistent performances in distance events. After his swimming career, Mortimer pursued interests outside of the sport.
